2026-08-10 12:22:57
According to CoinMeta, Lynn Martin, President of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), stated on August 10 that the exchange is continuing to develop the on-chain settlement infrastructure for tokenized securities, following previous announcements of a dedicated digital trading platform plan. At a national conference in Seoul, Martin confirmed that NYSE participated in the tokenization pilot conducted by the Depository Trust Company (DTC) in July. These remarks provide the latest updates on the project, marking its progression from early development announcements to the actual testing phase within the industry. The platform was first disclosed in January by NYSE, and subsequent regulatory documents as well as its participation in DTC7 month's trading activities have provided clearer details on how tokenized securities can be integrated into the existing US market infrastructure.
