UMX Launches Public Beta, Integrating Cryptocurrency with US Stock Trading
2026-08-10 15:39:48
According to CoinMeta, UMX (a unified market exchange) launched a closed beta test on August 10th, which was limited to invited participants and targeted professional investors. The platform combines crypto trading with access to U.S. stocks, ETF, and stock options. UMX indicates that eligible users can conduct crypto spot, margin, contract, and option trading on the same platform, while also accessing U.S. securities. UMX's securities services provide users with actual holdings of U.S. stocks, rather than just tracking stock prices through CFD or similar products. The platform also allows users to convert stablecoins such as USDT into U.S. dollars through "exchange transfers" and transfer the funds into their securities accounts. UMX's main feature is its capital bridge between crypto and securities.
