According to CoinMeta, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Coal Industry Development," which proposes to deeply implement the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative and strengthen the collection of artificial intelligence data in the coal sector. The plan emphasizes accelerating the systematic application of artificial intelligence in key areas such as exploration and design, construction and production, operation and maintenance, and safety management. It also aims to promote the research and development and dissemination of specialized large-scale artificial intelligence models for the coal industry, and to overcome key technical bottlenecks in intelligent perception, autonomous decision-making, and intelligent control. At the same time, there are plans to cultivate a number of pilot coal mines that integrate artificial intelligence applications to improve the level of safe production in coal mines, and to carry out intelligent transformations of mines with severe disaster risks, promoting the replacement of dangerous and heavy-duty tasks by robots.
