According to CoinMeta, South Korean President's Chief of Staff Kang Hoon - sik stated that South Korea will launch a semiconductor fund of 5 trillion Korean won (approximately $352 million) to invest in chip materials, components, and wafer-free factory enterprises. The government will provide 5 trillion Korean won in trade financing support for export-oriented suppliers and will also push for the passage of the "Super Large-Scale Special Industrial Park Act." The government plans to ensure 650,000 tons of water supply for semiconductor projects in the Hunan region by 2030, and the Longin Semiconductor Cluster is set to receive a planned power supply of 14.7 billion watts by 2041.
