According to CoinMeta, Vitalik stated on the X platform that Ethereum has updated the 2023 roadmap, adding new directions such as strong privacy, post-quantum scalability, and native Rollup. In this update, the order of some items has been re-adjusted; the priority of quantum security has been raised, while the priority of other items has been lowered, and some items have been replaced with more efficient constructs. The new state type is not only an alternative to state expiration but also represents a fundamental shift in the paradigm of Ethereum scalability. Vitalik indicates that Ethereum will achieve quantum security, putting user privacy first, maintaining security, resistance to censorship, high performance, and scalability, while also achieving the aforementioned goals and realizing lean.
