Core tobacco business revenue declined by 13%, and operating income plummeted by 90%. Although the stocks of Altria and Philip Morris only saw a slight decline, Turning Point Brands’s stock price rose by 16%. Universal has a dividend yield of 6.43%, and management expects tobacco shipments to rebound in the second half of the 2027 fiscal year.
