CrowdStrike and Palo Alto reach new record highs in stock prices, demand for AI security tools surges

According to CoinMeta, the stock prices of CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks both rose by more than 5% on Monday, hitting new highs, due to a significant increase in demand for artificial intelligence security tools following the annual Black Hat Cybersecurity Conference. Analysts pointed out in a report on BTIG that AI agents have fundamentally changed the threat landscape, although the deployment and use of AI security tools are still in their initial stages. BTIG raised its target stock price for Palo Alto to $380 per share and its target stock price for CrowdStrike to $237 per share, reflecting potential increases of about 4% and 11%, respectively. Other cybersecurity stocks also saw gains, with the stock prices of Tenable and Rubrik rising by more than 7%.
