According to CoinMeta, Nvidia announced the establishment of a new alliance with six global financial institutions, aiming to create an independent financing platform to support the expansion of AI infrastructure. The company has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Apollo, Blackstone, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Brookfield, and KKR, planning to mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital specifically for the construction of AI computing facilities worldwide. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, stated that Nvidia is helping to create a new type of investable infrastructure: the AI factory. This move will help customers access scarce computing resources under more favorable financing conditions. Nvidia also mentioned that the final agreements are still pending.
