Polymarket Reorganizes Team to Accelerate Compliance and Expansion in the US

According to CoinMeta, Polymarket is undergoing organizational upgrades in preparation for the upcoming autumn trading peak. This includes hiring several senior executives, reorganizing its marketing system, and strengthening its compliance team to expand into the U.S. market. Recently, Polymarket appointed Travis Vanderzanden, the founder of the shared electric scooter company Bird and a former executive at Uber and Lyft, as the Chief Growth Officer to oversee the company's growth strategy and marketing efforts. These adjustments come at a time when Polymarket is facing regulatory scrutiny, with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) having initiated an investigation into its business model. Polymarket has also reorganized its marketing department, updated the rules for promotional partners, and provided relevant training to employees. Additionally, it has hired consulting firm AlixPartners to ensure that partners' content complies with new regulations. The company's U.S. trading platform was launched in May of this year, and as the new NFL season and the mid-term elections in the U.S. approach, the market is expected to see a new round of growth in trading activity.
