According to CoinMeta, Coinbase has announced that it has received approval from the Abu Dhabi Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to establish an international tokenization center in Abu Dhabi. This license allows Coinbase to arrange investment transactions, and qualified investors will be able to access digital securities through digital wallets without the need for traditional brokerage accounts. Coinbase stated that the center will focus on bringing traditional financial assets onto blockchain networks, with the aim of lowering the barriers to entry for global capital markets. The company also noted that tokenization can reduce certain obstacles by directly placing financial assets on the blockchain.
