The holders of ENS tokens approved the next era proposal of ENS DAO and completed its implementation on the blockchain. The ENS foundation is responsible for setting naming standards, communicating policies, protecting brands and trademarks, hiring personnel, and managing daily operations, which are all off-chain tasks. ENS Labs will focus on the development of the ENS protocol, ENS V2, and related product infrastructure. The governance rights of the protocol, as well as the control over the ENS tokens held by DAO, remain in the hands of the token holders.
