China firmly opposes the US's so-called 'mic diplomacy'

According to CoinMeta, today (August 11th), at the Geneva disarmament negotiations, countries including the United States issued a so-called "ballistic missile launch notification" joint statement, unfoundedly accusing China of conducting a submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missile test in July. China's ambassador for disarmament affairs, Li Chijiang, spoke out to firmly refute these accusations and clarify China's position. Ambassador Li Chijiang emphasized that China firmly opposes individual countries from abusing the platform of the disarmament negotiations for political manipulation. The U.S., for its own political interests, lured some countries, including those not members of the negotiations, to join the joint statement, and nitpicked at China's good-faith move of notifying in advance about the missile test, making unfounded accusations and engaging in what could be called "microphone diplomacy." This is a typical example of political manipulation and blatant double standards, which China absolutely refuses to accept and firmly opposes.
