U.S. crude oil inventories expected to remain below five-year lows

According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects that U.S. commercial crude oil inventories will remain below the lowest levels of the five-year period from 2021 to 2025 until the end of 2026. Due to increased crude oil exports, decreased imports, and high refinery operating rates, U.S. crude oil inventories have been declining since mid-April. Driven by strong international demand for U.S. crude oil, net imports of crude oil are expected to remain below average levels until 2027.
