CRO Drops to Lowest Level Since 2023, Trading Plan Terminated

According to CoinMeta, the CRO token fell below $0.05 over the weekend, hitting its lowest price since 2023. The multi-billion-dollar CRO treasury plan that was originally scheduled to be established has been terminated by Crypto.com, DJT, and Yorkville companies, marking the complete collapse of the plan to “make CRO great again.” This plan was promoted as the first and largest publicly traded CRO treasury, aimed at providing confidence for the token. Although the stock code was changed from York to MCGA, no transactions were ultimately locked in. Marszalek once stated that this treasury would become the world's largest holder of CRO, even surpassing the market value of CRO itself, but none of this came to fruition. The plan was put on hold due to “market conditions and changes in business priorities,” and the CRO token fell by about 48% after the announcement, representing a 95% decline from its peak in November 2021. In addition, Crypto.com also terminated a second transaction related to Yorkville.
