According to CoinMeta, NASDAQ reached an agreement on August 11 to acquire all the equity of Level Markets LLC, with the aim of integrating it into a broader strategy to promote longer trading hours, tokenized securities, and digital market infrastructure. NASDAQ plans to launch a new 24-hour trading arrangement on December 6, 2026. Level Markets is the third-largest alternative trading system in the United States, handling hundreds of millions of transactions per day and covering over 2,500 buyer and seller clients. This transaction still needs to meet regular closing conditions and regulatory approval.
