Aviva chooses XRP ledger as the foundation for a $30 billion liquidity fund
2026-08-12 13:12:33
According to CoinMeta, Aviva Investors announced that it has tokenized its $30 billion US dollar liquidity fund on the XRP ledger as part of a collaboration with Ripple. The company manages over $30 billion in liquidity strategies and plans to further explore more tokenization opportunities with Ripple before 2026. Aviva stated that the tokenization will not change the fund's underlying assets, net asset value, or risk characteristics; rather, it records ownership in a digital manner, making transactions faster and more efficient. This move demonstrates an increasing interest in using the XRP ledger for real assets and traditional finance, and it also counters the view that banks must wait for clear legislation from the United States before using public blockchain networks.
