According to CoinMeta, the ONE token of Harmony plummeted by about 26% on Wednesday morning in Asia due to a significant attack. The attack resulted in the minting of approximately 4 billion new tokens, which exceeds a quarter of the token's current supply. Harmony confirmed the attack and stated that they are working with exchanges to freeze funds and preparing software fixes. Harmony said, "We are exploring patching and rolling back options," and added that updates will be provided when more information is available. This incident, occurring at a time when Ravencoin also faces the possibility of a rollback, highlights the complexity of such rollbacks.
