Crypto.com Launches Tokenized Stock Derivatives, Expanding into Traditional Markets
2026-08-12 14:08:35
According to CoinMeta, Crypto.com is launching tokenized derivatives that track 1,500 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to further expand its business in the stock market. The exchange stated on Wednesday that qualified users in the European Economic Area and other approved markets will have access to stocks such as Apple (AAPL), NVIDIA (NVDA), and Tesla (TSLA), as well as SPDR gold stocks (GLD) and iShares silver trusts (SLV). The product, issued by Foris Capital CY Limited, provides synthetic market exposure without investors obtaining ownership or voting rights to the actual stocks. This launch comes after Crypto.com acquired Foris Capital in 2025, which provided it with regulatory approval for financial products in Europe.
