Axel Adler Jr. Bitcoin Volatility Drops to 3.8%, Market in a Narrow Range Consolidation
2026-08-12 15:31:51
According to CoinMeta, based on the monitoring of early in and the analysis by analyst Axel Adler Jr, the volatility of Bitcoin has compressed to 3.8%, which is one of the lowest levels in nearly two years. The ADX trend strength indicator has dropped to 11, indicating that the market is in a state of narrow consolidation. Historical experience shows that extremely low volatility is often accompanied by significant price movements, but the direction is unknown. The width of the Bollinger Bands has significantly narrowed, with the ADX indicator below the 25 threshold, indicating no active bullish or bearish signals in the market. A breakout will require an expansion of the BBR bands accompanied by an increase in the ADX indicator above 25; until then, the risk of false breakouts remains.
