WeStrategy's stock price falls; plans to restart Bitcoin acquisition

According to CoinMeta, MicroStrategy’s ($MJPS) stock price approached $97.33 during trading on Tuesday, as its CEO ($MJPS_) stated that the company plans to resume Bitcoin purchases later in 2026. Despite four recent treasury sales, MicroStrategy still expects to buy more Bitcoins, currently holding 840,447 Bitcoins, which is a revision from the 846,000 reported in the second quarter. The company sold a total of 3,328 Bitcoins over the last two reporting periods, for a amount of $213.3 million. MicroStrategy’s dollar reserves have increased to $4.65 billion, providing management with more flexibility for preferred stock dividends and stock repurchases. After failing to maintain a daily price above $64,400, the Bitcoin price fell by about 0.7%.
