Kazakhstani mining companies have mined 7,200 BTC from the beginning of 2023 to 2026

According to CoinMeta, as reported by bits and media, the Kazakhstani Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development stated that from the beginning of 2023 to May 2026, local licensed mining companies and pools have mined a total of approximately 7,200 BTC. The highest production was in 2024, with about 3,400 units, followed by 2,300 in 2025, and 519.5 in the first five months of 2026. Currently, there are 78 licensed mining companies nationwide, with over 465,000 registered mining machines. The tax revenue related to the mining industry from 2023 to 2025 amounted to about 35 billion tenge, which is approximately 75 million US dollars.
