According to CoinMeta, digital asset infrastructure provider Copper announced that its US division has become a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is registered as a broker-dealer recognized by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This move will enable Copper to expand its institutional custody and trading infrastructure in the US market. Copper stated that its US division will utilize the Clearloop network, allowing institutions to use it as collateral for the transfer of crypto assets and tokenized assets between counterparties.
