According to CoinMeta, citing documents from Korean digital and asset, the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) made its first investment in a stablecoin issuer, Circle, in the second quarter of 2026, holding 65,443 shares worth approximately $4.09 million. During the same period, KIC reduced its holdings in Strategy, Coinbase, and Riot Platforms, while increasing its holdings in Block and Robinhood. As of the second quarter, it still held multiple crypto-related U.S. stocks.
