According to CoinMeta, DeepSeek has announced new prices for v4 and API, which will officially take effect on August 17th. During peak hours, the cost per million token cache misses has increased from the current 3 yuan to 9 yuan, and the output cost has risen from 6 yuan to 27 yuan, representing increases of 3 times and 4.5 times respectively. Although the price during off-peak hours is only half of the peak price, it is still more expensive than the current rate. For an input of 4.5 yuan, the output cost is 13.5 yuan; for an input of 1.5 yuan, the output cost is 4.5 yuan. The peak hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Beijing time, while other times are charged at the off-peak rate.
