Databricks Completes $5 Billion in Strategic Financing, Post-Investment Valuation Reaches $190 Billion

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Forbes, data infrastructure company Databricks has completed a $5 billion strategic financing round. Coatue led the investment, with Blackstone, MGX, and T. Rowe Price also participating, while Sixth Street Growth joined in afterward. The post-investment valuation reached $19 billion. The funds will be used to advance the infrastructure development, product research and development, and mergers and acquisitions of AI. The co-founder and CEO Ali Ghodsi stated that Databricks's current annualized revenue has exceeded $7 billion, with a year-over-year growth of over 80%.
