According to CoinMeta, the data breach incident involving Trezor is more serious than initially disclosed, with nearly 14,000 wallet purchasers being affected. The names, cities, and email addresses of 1,947 customers were exposed, in addition to the leakage of home addresses for 11,742 users. Trezor states that there is no risk to funds, but victims are warned to be wary of phishing attempts impersonating banks, exchanges, or Trezor itself. This is the first time in Trezor's 13-year history that customer home addresses have been exposed; a previous data breach in Ledger also resulted in victims receiving fake wallets.
