2026-08-14 06:39:49
According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, fintech company Chime Financial is exploring the integration of stablecoin functionality into its consumer banking app and has sought "end-to-end" stablecoin wallet service solutions from blockchain technology companies. Stablecoin infrastructure firm Rain has been involved in related discussions. If this feature is implemented, users will be able to hold, send, and receive stablecoins directly through the Chime app without the need to open a separate cryptocurrency exchange account. Chime currently has over 10.4 million active users and is also a member of the Open Standard alliance, which previously announced plans to launch a joint stablecoin called Open USD.
