According to CoinMeta, plume announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with New Han Asset Management, planning to use funds linked to Korean won ultra-short-term bonds as underlying assets to conduct a proof-of-concept for won-denominated tokenized funds, testing the technology and regulatory requirements necessary for related products to be launched on the blockchain. This project does not involve issuance or distribution and will be carried out within an isolated framework in a third jurisdiction, with contractual and technical measures in place to restrict access by Korean residents.
