According to the computing power index indicated by Luxor, Russia accounted for 16.4% of the global Bitcoin mining power in the first quarter, which is approximately 175 EH /s, ranking after the United States. The country's Ministry of Energy stated that implementing annual restrictions is aimed at reducing the risk of power supply shortages. Currently, the mining consumption of Moscow's power system is about 1 GW, while by 2032, the data center capacity in this region could reach 3.6 GW, accounting for about 17% of peak demand.
