2026-08-16 16:50:25
According to CoinMeta, HTX indicates that the trading restrictions on Binance only apply to users in the UK and the EU. On August 14th, Sun Yuchen stated that Binance had clarified that the upcoming restrictions would apply to transactions involving HTX. These restrictions will take effect on August 23rd, and Binance will cease processing direct or indirect transactions with HTX and ten other platforms. Sun also mentioned that HTX does not operate in these two regions and is in settlement negotiations with regulatory authorities in the UK and the EU. Nevertheless, the announcement from Binance did not explicitly state that these restrictions were limited to customers from the UK and the EU. The exchange is still required to comply with the requirements of its operating regions.
