According to CoinMeta, as traditional financial giants begin to embrace digital assets, the era of "going long on Bitcoin and going short on bankers" has officially come to an end. CEO Hunter Horsley stated that during the summer, two financial institutions managing over one trillion dollars approved crypto products, indicating that large companies are still expanding access to crypto even during a bear market. Horsley noted, "This year, everyone has donned their crypto jerseys; everyone is working for crypto." He added, "During the bear market, these two financial institutions, which manage over one trillion dollars in investments and wealth, saw this field and expressed their desire to offer it to their clients." Although Bitwise did not reveal the names of these companies nor answer questions about the content of the approvals or when client access began, Horsley emphasized that such financial institutions were not open to access during the market downturn of 2022.
