According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has expired. Nevertheless, diplomatic efforts continue in the Strait of Hormuz, despite multiple attacks on commercial vessels. Dan Williams, a Middle East correspondent for Bloomberg, stated in a program that the expiration of this memorandum is unlikely to trigger a full-scale conflict on its own. The Trump administration is increasingly emphasizing economic pressure on Tehran, while hopes for a broader solution remain slim. Israel, meanwhile, is assessing whether sanctions can force Iran to make concessions.
