According to CoinMeta, Guangzhou plans to enact legislation to promote the development of artificial intelligence, with a rational layout of supercomputing centers, urban edge intelligent computing nodes, and industry-specific intelligent computing clusters. In order to accelerate the construction of Guangzhou as a national pilot zone for the innovative development of new-generation artificial intelligence and a leading area for the innovative application of artificial intelligence, as well as to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence with various sectors of the economy and society and to foster the development of new high-quality productive forces, the "Guangzhou Artificial Intelligence Development Promotion Regulations" are scheduled to be submitted for the third review and voting in October 2026. These regulations focus on two core production factors and systematically improve the infrastructure and resource supply system, aiming to promote the green, efficient, and balanced distribution of computing resources.
