According to CoinMeta, the Austrian Financial Market Authority imposed a fine of 70,000 euros (approximately $81,150) on the company for violations of the country's Crypto Asset Markets Act. The authority noted that the company failed to submit its cryptocurrency white paper at least 20 working days in advance of its release. Additionally, the company disseminated marketing information before releasing the required white paper, and another document did not contain a statement indicating that the regulatory authorities had reviewed or approved it. The regulatory findings were "solely related to the timing and format specifications of the white paper and related information documents." The company submitted its white paper earlier last year and made corrections after issues were raised by the authorities. The case was concluded through an accelerated procedure, and the fine has now taken effect.
