According to CoinMeta, data from Santiment indicates that the shortage of Bitcoin on trading platforms since the summer has officially come to an end. In the first three weeks of August, investors repurposed 84% of the Bitcoin they had previously withdrawn back into liquid exchange wallets, during which time the price of Bitcoin remained stable at around $63,500. The peak outflow of Bitcoin on June 12 was 1.337 million coins, which decreased to 1.304 million coins by July 28, representing a reduction of about 33,000 coins, or approximately 2.5%, over six weeks. As of August 16, the exchange balance quickly recovered to 1.332 million coins, only 5,200 coins below the peak in June. Experts from Santiment point out that the issuance of new Bitcoin ETF shares is completely independent of public exchange addresses, with issuers purchasing Bitcoin directly from miners and large long-term holders. Current macroeconomic trends suggest that the expectation of a sharp price increase due to supply shortages has been temporarily set aside, and in the short term, the power of sellers has taken complete dominance.
