Paraguay Tax Authority Launches New Reporting Mechanism for Cryptocurrency Assets

According to CoinMeta, as reported by criptonoticias, the Paraguayan Tax Authority has introduced a new mechanism for reporting crypto assets. Residents and related platforms with annual crypto transaction amounts exceeding $5,000 are required to report information such as transaction time, amount, fees, transaction hash, source and destination addresses, and wallet type. This covers activities including BTC, stablecoins, NFT, staking, lending, and mining, as well as transactions involving overseas wallets and those without intermediaries. The first reporting year is 2026, and related reports must be submitted by March 2027.
