According to CoinMeta, the established blockchain project Decred ( DCR ) has identified a security vulnerability and plans to release a fix patch on August 18th. For safety reasons, officials recommend that miners and related users temporarily stop mining and voting before completing the upgrade. As of now, Decred has not disclosed the specific details of the vulnerability, nor have any related asset losses been reported.
