According to CoinMeta, a large trader provided “insurance” for short positions in BTC worth 16 million US dollars, and invested nearly the same amount of principal in Polymarket. Trader “lucasmeow” currently holds short positions in BTC and ETH totaling about 15.889 million US dollars in HyperLiquid, and has also invested about 466,700 US dollars in Polymarket to set up a cross-platform “insurance” for these short positions. They are currently shorting 100 units of BTC with a leverage of 40 times, valued at about 6.412 million US dollars, and also shorting 5,000 units of ETH with a leverage of 25 times, valued at about 9.477 million US dollars. The total floating profit from these two short positions is about 503,000 US dollars, while they occupy a margin of about 539,000 US dollars.
