According to CoinMeta, Sequoia Capital successfully raised $10 billion after its new leadership took office, of which $2.5 billion was invested in Anthropic. Since Alfred Lin and Pat Grady took over the company in November last year, Sequoia has announced about 20 investments related to AI; projects that were previously considered overvalued are now also being pursued. In addition, Sequoia also raised $10 billion for its growth and expansion funds, marking the first round of financing completed by the new leadership. Meanwhile, the valuation of AI, a chip startup company known as Etched, doubled to $21 billion within a month, with Jane Street leading the investment and becoming the first customer to purchase complete racks equipped with Etched AI acceleration chips. The cumulative orders for Etched have exceeded $1 billion, and deliveries have already begun.
