According to CoinMeta, Japanese companies have achieved a higher proportion of earnings exceeding expectations than in any other period over the past five years. The market generally expects strong profit growth across various industries to drive a market rebound, with the impact likely to extend beyond transactions related to artificial intelligence. Data shows that in the three months ending June, approximately 71% of Japanese companies exceeded analysts' forecasts in terms of earnings. The combined net profits of the 500 largest companies reached 21 trillion yen (about $132 billion), surpassing the previous record of around 18 trillion yen set a year ago. It is anticipated that the profit margin of stocks included in the Tokyo Stock Exchange index will reach 9.3%, marking the highest level for such data in over thirty years. Strategists at resona Holdings Company stated that companies in the domestic demand sector have performed better than expected, and investor interest has increased, with this trend expected to continue.
