According to CoinMeta, the proposal vote regarding the transformation of gnosis from an independent layer to an Ethereum economic zone instance of zk by chain will end in 12 hours. Currently, the support rate has reached 99.78%, which exceeds the required quorum. After the transformation, gnosis and chain will inherit Ethereum's security and liquidity, achieving compatibility with the mainnet. The validator set will be phased out, and approximately 350,000 GNO staked tokens will be unlocked. The first version is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
