According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, South Korea's yield curve has become the steepest since 2021, with the decline in long-term bonds widening the gap between the yields of three-year and ten-year government bonds to the highest level in nearly five years. This phenomenon is occurring against a backdrop of global selling of long-term securities and market expectations that the Bank of Korea will not raise interest rates significantly.
