According to CoinMeta, AMD shares fell after being sold off in the global market, closing down 4.27% (21.61 points) on August 18th, and further dropped 0.39% (1.87 points) during pre-market trading. South Korea's KOSPI index fell by 5.8%, with a market value evaporating by approximately $235 billion. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix each declined by 7.82% and 9.75%, resulting in a combined loss of about $174 billion. The decline in AMD shares is also related to the tensions between the United States and Iran, with investors' concerns about rising oil prices and inflation intensifying. Despite the short-term risks, analysts are optimistic about the future of AMD, expecting its Q4 financial reports to reflect sales growth.
