US retail investors reduced stock purchases in April and increased purchases of put options

According to CoinMeta, based on early data from in, retail investors in the U.S. stock market have reduced direct stock purchases since April, and the volume of put options bought on 12 popular stocks has doubled compared to the first quarter. Kaidi Meng, a global stock strategist, stated that the proportion of put option purchases in net cash purchases has risen from about 26% to 110%.
