Standard Chartered Bank: Bitcoin could rise to $100,000 by the end of 2026

According to CoinMeta, Geoff Kendrick, the head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that Bitcoin could rise to $100,000 by the end of 2026, considering $65,500 as a key technical level. If this level is continuously broken through, it may indicate that the lowest point of this cycle has been reached. He pointed out that the US Treasury Department announced an increase in the maximum single liquidity support repurchase amount for 10 to 20-year and 20 to 30-year Treasury bonds from $2 billion to at least $4 billion. The expanded repurchases will be implemented from September 9 to November 4, which should help alleviate the financial pressure caused by rising long-term Treasury bond yields. Following the announcement, long-term US Treasury bond yields fell, and Bitcoin briefly rose by more than 6% to near $69,000, reaching its highest level since early June.
