According to CoinMeta, the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan stated that the country has applied to Iran for the import of over 2.55 million tons of oil and petroleum products. The reason is that Russia, its traditional supplier, is also facing fuel shortages. The requested 2.55 million tons of fuel include 2 million tons of crude oil, 150,000 tons of gasoline, 300,000 tons of diesel, and 100,000 tons of aviation kerosene. No timeline for the delivery of the supplies was mentioned in the statement.
