According to CoinMeta, the former author Richard Qian proposed a counter-intuitive argument: the stronger the model, the agent harness may not necessarily become thinner; on the contrary, it could become thicker. He pointed out that as models become smarter, many fixed processes can be directly entrusted to them, and in the end, only one bash tool might be left. At the same time, Slack has added code channels specifically for coding agent to use, with the first batch of partners including Anthropic, GitHub, Cognition, and Vercel. Users can work together with coding agent in these channels. Even before Slack code went live, Richard Qian had already started a business called Slock, which was later renamed Raft. Raft has been working on a more thorough agent team from the very beginning, and multiple agent can collaborate with each other within the same channel.
