According to CoinMeta, Wang Xingxing, the founder of Unitree, stated at the Beijing World Robot Conference that humanoid robots are expected to become widely popular in the mass market within the next decade. Although the stock price of Unitree soared by 460% during its initial public offering (IPO) on Wednesday, it fell by nearly 19% on Thursday. Wang Xingxing pointed out that demand is expected to grow rapidly once robots can complete 80% of tasks through voice commands in unfamiliar environments. He also mentioned that the funds raised from Unitree's IPO will be used to enhance robot intelligence and promote the development of "humanoid brains." According to data from Smart Analytics Global, global shipments of humanoid robots increased to 19,100 units in the first half of the year, with an expected rise to about 60,000 units this year, and are projected to reach 500,000 units by 2030.
