According to CoinMeta, data released by the Russian Central Bank on Thursday showed that as of August 1, the country's gold reserves had decreased by 1.6 million ounces from the beginning of the year, falling to 73.2 million ounces, the lowest level since January 2020. The data indicates that over the past seven months, the value of the bank's gold reserves has decreased by $33.7 billion.
