According to CoinMeta, OpenRouter has launched a new anonymous model, Ox Alpha, which is positioned as a cutting-edge model for long-term agent work and real production environments. It supports up to 1 million token contexts and can process text, images, and video inputs. Currently, the model is available for free testing, and the provider will not use users' prompt or output the trained model. The identity of the Ox Alpha team has not been made public yet, but the community generally speculates that it may come from Xiaomi's Mimo team. Xiaomi's Lin Shiwei has previously revealed that a new generation of Mimo models is in training and is expected to be released soon. Previously, Zhipu's GLM-5, Xiaomi's Mimo-V2-Pro and Mimo-V2-Omni, Ant Group's Ling-2.6-Flash, and Meituan's Longcat-2.0 all ran a free trial under different names before revealing their true identities.
